Download the distribution file from the download page. You can safely ignore Internet Explorer security warnings about the dangers of downloading executable files - this software does not contain any viruses, spyware, adware, or any other malicious software. See the end user license agreement for details. When the download window appears, be sure to click the "Open" or "Open this program from its current location" choice. If you do select "Save", please make a note of the directory into which the program is saved and execute the installation program from that location. Follow the installation instructions. By default, the application is installed in the "Program Files" folder on the system drive.

The latest version of the synchronizer is always available on download page. To upgrade the synchronizer up to the latest version you just need to install new version into the same folder which the old version is installed in. In this case the new version retains options and settings of the previous installation.

You need to uninstall the old version before installing a new one only if you want to install it in a different folder. Uninstallation deletes all settings of the synchronizer too. If you want to use the current settings in further please make sure that you have already saved all settings of the previous installation in files before the uninstallation process.

File Synchronization is the process of ensuring that two or more locations contain the same up to date files. The Synchronizer eliminates differenses between different locations' files and makes the files of each location up to date and equal to files of other locations that participate in synchronization. If you add, change, or delete a file from one location, the synchronization process will add, change, or delete the same file at the other location. File synchronization maintains the same up to date version of files on multiple locations.

When you run the synchronizer first time you will see profile window. To start with the first synchronization you just need choose two folders that contain the data you wish to sync.

You can type synchronization folder paths in the left and in the right sync folders panel manually or can use "Browse..." button to navigate the file system and choose the folder from windows file manager. If you type the path of the nonexistent folder it will be created at the time of the synchronization.

The synchronizer separates the sync process into two parts: analyzing and purely synchronisation. At the time of the analyzing the synchronizer assigns the action by design for each of the sync files. After the analyzing is finished the list of the prospective operations is displayed in the profile window. Before synchronization starts the customer can override or change any of operation if necessary.

If the synchronizer meets the small probability's situation like "Substantial difference in folders" or ambiguous situation like "file versions conflict" it generates important message with situation description so customer can make decision for each of these cases. If you are agree with the operation by design you can use "ignore" choice in such cases.

When you are sure in each of operations press the "Synchronize" button to fulfil all of them.

When the all actions are performed the synchronization is finished. All of sync folders have the same up to date actual data.

After the synchronization is finished the list of the performed operations still is displayed in profile window. If you want you can press the "Clear" Button to clear the sync job's area and to release the operative memory.
